Recycling

All of our waste is taken our Waste Transfer Station (WTS) at Roodscroft, Hatt, Near Saltash, Cornwall. The WTS allows us to sort as much mixed waste as possible, segregating different types of materials such as wood, metal, hardcore, soil and plastic. Once the waste has been sorted into its different materials it can pass through further processes (i.e. crushed hardcore, blended soil, chipped wood) turning a waste material into a recycled product.

Brunel is fully aware of the increasing demands on landfill and manages to recycle up to 95% of the waste that comes in. Brunel is continually looking for new markets for recycling, working closely with our customers, we are able to produce monthly reports which are becoming more important when projects are expected to prove their green credentials.
